Real video generation
2026-09-26- • SuperAIVideo now generates real video: 5-second text-to-video clips in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1.
- • Plans now include 10 / 25 / 55 videos a month.
- • Clips are 768p MP4s made by a third-party AI video model served through fal.ai. Progress shows on the page, recent videos are listed on the generator page, and a failed generation is not counted.
- • The earlier text-plan generator (scene lists and scripts) has been retired.
Accounts you can actually run
September 2026- • Password reset by email, with single-use links that expire in an hour and sign out every other session.
- • An account page showing your plan, this month's usage and a one-click cancel — no support ticket, no PayPal hunt.
- • Transactional email: a welcome message with what you bought, and a confirmation when a subscription ends.
- • The contact form now sends through our own mail provider instead of a third-party relay.
- • A failed generation no longer costs a credit: the prompt is validated before quota is spent, and model errors refund it.
- • Copy any generated video plan as readable text or as JSON (since retired with the move to video).
- • Upgraded to Next.js 16 to clear a critical security advisory, and a daily database keepalive so the app cannot go dark from inactivity.
- • Rewrote the site to describe only what the product does today.
Self-hosted accounts and a real paywall
August 2026- • Replaced the third-party auth provider with self-hosted email and password accounts on Postgres.
- • Payment comes first: an account is created only once PayPal confirms an active subscription.
- • Signature-verified PayPal webhook, so a cancellation or refund switches access off automatically.
- • Monthly quotas enforced in a single atomic statement — parallel requests cannot exceed a plan.
- • Three plans at $8, $18 and $38 for 40, 150 and 400 text generations a month. No free tier.
- • Prompt-to-plan text generation: headline, scenes with on-screen action and voiceover, timings, and a closing CTA (since replaced by video generation).
